My Life Is A Hot Mess.

This is the story of my hot-mess-of-a-life. The idea came after I realized that I have no idea what I should do at the moment.... I thought that this would be an easy way to get opinions on what I should do, because as a female, I have no idea what I want! (Ladies, you know what I'm talking about!) The next couple of posts will catch up on everything that has happened to get to this point in time.

Let's start with summer 2011:
           After coming home from a trip to Europe, and having not seen my friends in about a month, I hung out with them like crazy. At this point in time, I was independent and 100% sure that I didn't want a boyfriend to have to worry about all of the time. Then I realized that a good guy friend of mine was acctually quite attractive. For our purposes, we'll call him Jake. Jake is a fun-loving, athletic guy. He's the type that you can never stay mad at because he makes you laugh as soon as you even get the chance to be mad at him. So we end up hanging out all the time..... at first, I didn't think he felt the same way about me, so I just pushed the idea of 'us' away and was happy with being just friends. I never realized that he was the one who had the 'us' idea first! After our mutual friend setting us up on a couple of super fun 'outings' (aka dates.... but they were never really offical dates, so I'm calling them outings), I realized that he was having the same feelings I was. At this point you would think that he would man up and ask me out officialy, but that didn't happen. Instead, a little bit of drama ensued. First bit of drama: The mutual friend who was setting us up is slightly obsessed with Jake and then tells me months later that she really likes him, and has since before summer started, and didn't want to hide her feelings anymore. She tells me this MONTHS after I specifically asked her if she knew of any of our friends who might be hurt by Jake and I's little fling. I thought he was fair game.... apparently not. Now, I have no idea what to do, seeing as the mutual friend, happens to be my best friend. As if that wasn't bad enough, here comes the crazy ex girlfriend.
